Welcome to our Spring 2010 Collection which illustrates some wonderful enamel and porcelain gifts for the coming year, including our popular annual dated editions for St Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and, of course, Easter.
Our collection also contains some exciting new enamels including: ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and replicas of three great paintings from the Courtauld Gallery – a self-portrait and a landscape by Vincent Van Gogh (the Royal Academy’s exhibition of his work opens in January) and ‘Adam and Eve’ by Lucas Cranach the Elder. We also have three exceptional limited editions this year – two commemorating great men of literature, Samuel Pepys and Mark Twain; and a magnificent musical box celebrating a work of Ludwig van Beethoven.
A gift from the British community to the people of the City of New York, the garden is a living memorial offering a place of solitude, comfort and reflection, while honouring the British victims of September 11, 2001. These commemorative items are inspired by Isabel and Julian Bannerman’s distinctive design for the garden.
